Kolan South

Kolan South receiving office 20 km south west of Bundaberg. The South Kolan receiving office opened in 1879 and the name was changed to Kolan South in 1887. It was elevated to a post office around May 1908. Receiving office keeper in 1879 was James Chisholm, a teacher; 1884 M. Hendrickson; 1885 Thomas Kidd, teacher; 1886 John Cory, teacher; 1891 F. Harwood, teacher; 1895 F. Martin, teacher;1902 Edwin Holdway, teacher
